Thanko’s New Spy Camera–In A Button

The folks out at Thanko have brought us a lot of gadgetry that made us question our sanity before now, but the trend only continues with the recent release of Thanko’s newest wonder widget, the Thanko Button-Style Videocamera2.

Yes, it’s a spycam that’s shaped exactly like a sweater button.

It gets about fifty minutes worth of record time on a single lithium ion battery, and records thirty frames per second video, and can take still photos in surprisingly deep 1280×1024 resolution.  It’s compatible with microSD cards, so you can store all your findings for later.

It’s a fairly bulky system, mostly because the button is basically only the lens storage, not the entire camera, but if you’re wearing a sweater or blazer, then you should be able to secret this without incident.

If you want to get one of these, it’ll cost you about fifty five bucks, and the overall package comes with six buttons in three different colors so you can mix and match and color-coordinate your spy efforts.
