Digital photo frames would normally show off pictures that were saved in portable storage devices. But thanks to Hammacher Schlemmer, their digital frame can also scan actual pictures for you, made possible by its built-in scanner feature. With one press of a button, you can scan those old pics into 300 dpi jpeg images which are later on stored to the 1GB internal memory.

The memory can store up to 3,000 images although you can make use of other storage options such as a MS/SD/xD/MMC/CF memory card or a USB device. The digital photo frame boasts of an 8” TFT LCD panel with an 800×600 resolution. It also features a calendar, clock and play MPEG videos. The Hammacher Schlemmer digital photo frame is now available and retails for $199.95.
