Tamron 3-Megapixel AF Camera Module



The folks at Tamron recently announced their new 3-megapixel AF camera modules which has been exclusively designed for camera-equipped mobile phones. The Tamron camera modules feature a built-in auto focus function and new Scale’s patented SQUIGGLE motors for precise movement of the lens. The module measures just around 18.2×16.3×10.8mm (width × depth × height) and has been equipped with a a 3-megapixel CCD, 3X AF zoom and internal zoom system which means that the lens doesn’t protrude.
