Sigma has come up with its two latest teleconverters-the APO Teleconverter 1.4x EX DG and the APO Teleconverter 2x EX DG. The teleconverters are intended to work with Sony mount tele-photo lenses.The new teleconverters are HSM-capable and can easily uphold the HSM’s swift focusing speeds. To work effectively with the teleconverters, the lens requires being a fast lens.

These latest teleconverters boast Sigma’s Super Multi Layer coatings to minimize flash and ghosting. When used with fast telephoto lenses they let the photographers have brilliant experience of capturing nice wild and natural photos. The A 1.4x teleconverter can enlarge the focal length by 1.4x and as a result, the 200mm lens works like a 280mm lens. Overall, the Sigma teleconverters enhance the capability of the Sony HSM lenses.

Sigma hasn’t announced the availability and pricing of its teleconverters at the moment.
