Texas Instruments nHD DLP Pico Projector Chipset Unveiled
Texas Instruments has unveiled a new pico projector chipset at the MWC with the nHD. It boasts of a thinner chipset that should allow manufacturers to easily integrate it into devices with smaller form factors such as mobile smartphones.
The new nHD DLP chipset features a 640×360 resolution and up to a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The chipset uses a new low power Pico DPP2601/2607 ASIC processor. Mass production for the nHD DLP Pico Projector chipset will kick off by the second quarter of 2010.
