The Canon SD 600 Review
Popular Photography recently reviewed the Canon SD 600 and are impressed by its sleek bosy and rich features. They also like the digicam for its 2.5 LCD which viewable even in daylight and the onboard optical viewfinder. The digicam however suffers from poor battery life.
The SD600 2.5 inch LCD has been designed to make shooting, viewing and playback easy and there is Night Display feature for low light shooting conditions. The widescreen recording mode (2816 x 1584 recording pixels) captures images in 16: 9 formats which makes it perfect for viewing images on widescreen television. There are 16 modes including Manual where users can set the shutter speed, white balance and other exposure settings. Movie recording of VGA clips can be done up to 30fps and the Compact mode records up to 3 minutes in low resolution. Another feature is the new ISO 800 shooting for minimal camera shake and flash free shooting indoors.
