The Hubble Takes HD Pictures of Jupiter’s Moons

Not sure what camera to get yourself this Christmas? Would you want one that’s able to take clear pictures of Jupiter’s largest moon in HD? All you need is a camera as good as the Hubble and you will be in business.
The picture here has been shot using that big piece of technology up there in space. NASA’s telescope took lots of picture on April 9, 2007. The target was Ganymede, that large moon, on its way behind the planet. The Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 helped astronomers put together an 18-second movie made of 540 movie frames.
After you get a camera as good as the Hubble’s you’ll only need a similar position in space. Then you’ll be able to take HD pictures of your neighbors without them knowing it.
