The LG Expo Projector Phone Gets Initial Reviews
So I found this video of someone over at PC Magazine going hands-on with the new LG Expo projector phone, and I figured it’d be a good idea to bring it in here. Seeing, of course, as how no one sends us nifty things like this, sometimes you’ve got to just do what you can.
Anyway, the LG projector phone–I’m actually really impressed. They were showing some brief clips of Transformers on the wall of their office and the results were downright astonishing, especially for a pico projector mounted on the back of a camera phone.
You can see for yourself in the video below, and I get the feeling you’ll be as astonished as I am. Of course, the fact that this phone’s also carrying a five megapixel camera doesn’t hurt matters one bit. The versatility of this concept is unbelievable–you could patch it into a portable DVD player and go anywhere and show a movie when you get there.
Teenage kids are going to LOVE this. “We’re going to the movies” isn’t exactly a lie when you can take your pico projector and portable DVD setup to the local makeout spot.
But as the video will show, even without the enhanced options for hanky-panky afoot, the LG Expo is still one seriously interesting device.
