Pentax recently unveiled a state of an art wide-angle lens which would be the perfect companion to its current and upcoming DSLR camera series. The highly expensive smc PENTAX DA 21mm F3.2 AL Limited interchangeable wide-angle lens($549.95) will start shipping in July and is already in the news for its thin, pancake design.Ofcourse with tag smc attached to it no one will doubt ist performance.

The PENTAX DA 21mm F3.2 lens has a PENTAX KAF mount and has a minimum aperture of 22 and maximum aperture of 3.2. It has already garnered a lot of critical acclaim due to its form factor as the lens weighs about 4.9 ounces (140 grams) and is only 1 inch thick. The PENTAX DA 21mm F3.2 lens has diameter of 63mm x 25mm and the minimum focusing distance is 0.2m (0.66ft.).
