The Punch Camera–I Can’t Believe This Exists
I’m not sure whether to be horrified or amazed by what I’m seeing here, folks, but this’ll just kill you. Seriously, start checking your pulse and get a doctor on standby, because I’m talking about the Punch Camera.
The Punch Camera starts out much like any ordinary run of the mill type camera. It takes regular images. But when you PUNCH the camera–as in physically strike it–it produces a rasterized image of your selected picture directly onto a sheet of paper.
My mind is boggling at this point. What kind of possible use would anyone have for a digital camera that can produce a stamped image of itself onto a sheet of paper? It’s a cool enough idea, don’t get me wrong, but for crying out loud–get an instant camera or a digital with onboard printer. The Punch Camera is just a little too out there for me.
