The Spy Kite Give’s You a Bird’s Eye View

Here is something ingenious and sneaky to do for the summer. Kite flying is expected to be among the activities that some kids (and kids at heart!) would be doing, since they are expected to spend more time at parks or beaches. Now if you want to see what others are doing, here is a kite with an integrated spy camera which should give you a bird’s eye view of the area around you.

Now mischievous as it may seem, you better use this thing with care. If people suddenly become curious why this camera is hovering over them, chances are you are inviting trouble. As for the camera that is attached to it:

The camera secures to the underside of the 47 1/4″ x 23 1/2″ delta wing kite and can be set to take a picture at 15-, 30-, 60-, or 90-second intervals. It can store up to 25 pictures at 640 x 480 resolution or as many as 305 pictures at 320 x 200 resolution on its built-in 4 MB memory. When your flights are complete, the camera connects to your computer running Windows XP or Vista via USB for image downloads. The kite is made from durable nylon with sturdy fiberglass supports. Requires two AAA batteries.

And the price for this camera? $89.95.
