Toshiba Unveils New 1080p PocketDV Camcorders



There are two new members to the Camileo range of portable cameras by Toshiba and they are the Camileo H20 and Camileo P30. Both are capable of shooting in high definition mode.

The Camileo H20 is an upgraded version of the H10 launched last summer, and features

  • 1440 x 1080 shooting
  • 5x optical zoom
  • 4x digital zoom
  • Video stabilization
  • Night shooting mode
  • YouTube upload facility
  • 5-megapixel digital stills
  • HDMI output

    • Price: £180

    The Camileo P30 succeeds last year’s Camileo Pro HD and features much the same functionality as the H20. It showcases an upright model rather than a barrel and comes equipped with a 2.5-inch LCD screen.

    Price: £150

    Both will be available by February, 2009.
