Transcend has announced the release of new Extreme Plus 600x-capable CF cards that is available in 8GB and 16GB storage capacities. Though only released in Korea, these are certified to support 92MB reads and 87MB write speeds.

Making use of a quad-channel controller, the release of these new cards is certain to signal better days ahead for people looking for better performing memory cards needed for various purposes such as image and videos. No word yet on whether these new CF cards will be likewise made available in other regions.
