Another new product to be released by Transcend Information is the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 microSD Card Reader, the S2. The card reader measures just around 44mm x 19mm x 11mm and weighs around 7 grams.

The S2 Card Reader can read data directly from the popular microSD card and has a a USB 2.0 connector which eliminates the use of a USB cable. It features high-speed transfer rate (up to 480Mb/s) and is ideal for transferring photos, music, video, and personal data. The S2 is now available in pearl white and is compatible with Windows® 98SE/2000/ME/XP/Vista, Mac® OS 9, and Linux® Kernel 2.4 and later versions.
