Ultra Zoom Lens to Launch by Sigma




Sigma is working on a new ultra zoom lens for us. It’s an 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DC with optical stabilizer and Hyper Sonic Motor which will get us 50mm more than the regular 18-200mm lens.

This Sigma lens features lens construction of 18 elements in 14 groups. It has four SLD glass elements and three aspherical elements to minimize distortions. The new lens will cost $1,080 and it will be launched on February 21st. Canon camera owners will be the first ones to be able use one but support for Nikon, Pentax and Sony mounts are going to follow.
