Underwater Camera Helps Search For Missing Woman
We love camera news of all stripes out here, folks, and as such, we definitely love
mentioning when police and rescue officials use cameras in the course of their rescue work. Today we’ve got one such story out of Columbia City, Indiana, where an underwater camera is being brought in to help in the search for the body of a woman who’s been missing for some time, and who was also believed to be murdered by her former husband.
The search for the missing woman began November eighteenth, and officials called off the search last weekend. Then it switched to a recovery effort rather than a search and rescue sort of affair. Part of that recovery effort enlisted a boat with an underwater camera to check a pair of lakes not too far from where the woman lived.
Hopefully she’ll be found alive, but found or otherwise, it’ll be with the help of cameras that gets anything accomplished here.
