Business groups such as banks need their share of image capturing devices and Unisys is set to unveil a new batch of image acquiring gadgets that should help banks in providing greater levels of flexibility in check and full-page image capture devices. The new devices tasked to provide some aid for them are the SmartSource Adaptive Series devices which can aid in check processing with full-page image capture capabilities which will enable clients to capture and convert all processed items, regardless of size, to high quality images.

Standard features include:

• Auto-sensing (CMC7 and E13B) MICR reader
• Optical character recognition
• Franking capability
• Captures full-page documents at high (300 dpi) resolution

All these features are provided at a throughput rate of up to 70 check-sized documents per minute or 30 full page documents per minute.
