U.S. Army Needs 2.3 Gigapixel Camera

We all know that for surveillance measures, the U.S. army requires the best resolution available. And while most of this happens via aerial means, higher pixels is required. In fact, it seems that the U.S. army needs at least 2.3 Gigapixels!

This high pixel camera would be used for super-wide aerial surveillance. But before the army get their hopes up, its sad to say that this may not yet be a reality considering a higher imaging device doesn’t even exist yet.

Regardless, the U.S. Army has been known to come up with the weirdest and outrageous requirements for supposed national security. This one is not at all surprising!
