U.S. Pricing and Availability For Panasonic’s New HDC Camcorders
Panasonic’s HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 Full HD camcorders are each described as “the world’s lightest HD camcorders”, if you are considering AVCHD models anyway. They record in 1080p to SD/SDHC cards and the the TM10 comes with an internal 8GB of flash storage. Besides HD there’s also an optical image stabilizer, Face Detection and 16x optical zoom.
Both also have Intelligent Scene Selection and Pre-Rec, and are controlled by flip-out touchscreen displays. The suggested U.S. retail prices of the HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 are $549.95 and $599.95 respectively. The TM10 will be come in black and silver models, while the SD10 in will be black only. All models will become available in the U.S. September 2009.
