Very cool hack of a Canon Digital camera



What you are seeing here is a hack of a Canon AE-1 Program SLR. According to my source: “A clever shutterbug gutted the film camera innards and made space for the Canon Digital Ixus 870 IS to be placed inside”.

This shutterbug managed to wire the controls so the shutter button on the SLR would trigger the shutter on the compact, and there is a “pop-up” flash as well.
