We’ve shown you the VholdR ContourHD camera a long while ago and it looks like the cam has a follower which promises to record even better your finest moments of bravery and/or stupidity for all your friends to admire. The ContourHD1080p is the next VholdR cam which will offer you 1080p video recording right out of the box. The helmet cam is waterproof so you’ll be able to take it with you even under complicated weather conditions. Other features include a microSD slot which can take up to 16GB cards, a 1050mAh battery which will give you about 3 hours of continuous video recording.

The ContourHD1080p will be able to record 1080p video at 30fps but you can also select your desired resolution all the way down to 848 x 480 at 60fps. The microphone will record everything around without as much noise as the previous model and the various mounts and straps will help you mount it on yourself, your car or your bike. Does that sound interesting? Well in case it does then you should know the helmet cam is going to be available in October for $329.
