Vision Research’s Phantom Flex unveiled at NAB
Vision research has just announced their latest high-speed digital camera at the NAB broadcast show in Las Vegas.
The Phantom Flex is marketed to the digital cinema crowd as it features a 4K, 2560 x 1600 sensor with 12bit color depth. The maximum resolution would be 1,560 frames per second, and 2,800 when stepped down to HD resolution. If brought down to 640 x 480 resolution, then you can record at 6,300 FPS. It also is good for shooting in low-light situations, and can be boosted to 1,000 ISO.
There isn’t any word on pricing at this time, and that goes for availability too.
