A brand new duplex color network scanner named NetScan 400 was announced recently by Visioneer. The scanner offers an affordable and efficient solution to share and securely capture information from paper based documents throughout a network.

The NetScan sports a highly responsive LCD touch screen that displays all operation modes clearly and a soft QWERTY keyboard that makes data entry easy and fast. Easy administration is possible through an embedded form based web page configuration and a standard Ethernet connection. The scanner is capable of scanning documents at 20 ppm or 14 ipm. For direct access to Microsoft Exchange Server email directories and SMTP server, it supports lightweight directory access protocol.

Priced at $1,495, you can now get the Visioneer NetScan 4000 immediately through major sellers and online channel partners.
