Can anyone explain to me like I am a five year old why do I need a cellular connection available from my digital photo frame. Isabella Products has a new Vizit frame which will also offer us a cellular connection. There’s no WiFi and Ethernet support which I would rather use but there’s this weird cellular connection. The Vizit frame will also sport a 10.2 inch touchscreen and that’s about it so far. We know the frame will let users share photos and engage in other social networking activities as it will be tied to the vizitme.com site. The site is not ready yet and the frame will cost about $299. Not to mention the monthly plan you will need if you want to take advantage of that cellular connection. I’ll have to pass on this one then, but what do you think?

Cellular connection allows anyone with a camera-equipped cell phone to send pictures to the Vizit. Not all mobile phones support wifi.

Also, due to the fact that the frame’s connectivity does not depend on wifi, the less tech savvy can use the frame without a home internet connection. The frame can easily be transported to a new location without requiring a password to gain access to the nearest wifi connection.
I’d rather take the one-in-all wifi or bluetooth digital photo frame.the $299 with monthly extra fee will drive me crazy. Really think this cellular connection can improve the frames a lot? Can it transfer the pictures when you are on you holiday on aboard? the answer is negetive!
I perfer the eStarling wifi frame when I order my own digital frame as a xmas gift last year at http://www.udiggit.com, you can see the wifi feature such as one-click technology can make the way you transferred your hot picture much more easlier!
