Wander What’s Inside a Lens?




The lens above is a 400mm f/4 DO IS USM from Canon which sells for at least $5,500. Should we assume the price for half a lens starts out at $2,750? The lens is attached to a 1D older camera and you will find it on the bottom floor of a building in Canon’s Japanese headquarters. And while we try to figure out how they managed to cut it like that we should check the Canon copier below too.
