Web Camera Program Goes Bust
Web cameras have become the new option for surveillance these days. However, as far as the government is concerned, you have to justify the expense if you want it to continue. And unfortunately, Governor Rick Perry’s web camera program seems to have gone haywire.
The web camera was expected to help improve on the control and order in Texas. But as it seemed, it only produced 8 drug busts and 11 arrests, a far cry from the forecasted 1,200 arrests. Hence with those figures, what else can you expect from such a flunking program?
Take it from the sheriffs alone. The whole program is a flop. And now Gov. Perry wants $2 million more? Good luck to you Mr. Governor!
