What Digital Camera’s Charity Auction: Nikon D3000 Up For Grabs
Okay camera buffs, listen up–if you want to help the folks down in Haiti and also get your hands on some choice camera gear, then you’ll want to head over to What Digital Camera and check out their Haiti relief auction. Just to get you interested, check out the list of items that’ll be up for bids:
The crew out at Nikon UK threw in a Nikon D3000 with an 18-55 mm kit lens, retailing ordinarily for about nine hundred bucks US.
Canon’s throwing in an IXUS 870 IS, which weighs in at about six hundred bucks retail.
And Casio even chipped in an Exilim EX-H10, which would ordinarily bring in about five hundred bucks.
The bid prices right now–the auction is being run through eBay UK–are preposterously low. For instance, that Nikon D3000 is going for a whopping three hundred bucks, give or take, or a hundred and fifty five pounds sterling.
So if you’ve been in the market for a new camera but haven’t made the plunge yet, now may be a good time to consider it. Check out the auction action right here.
