Wireless Tethering Available for Your DSLR

Want a neat home project involving your DSLR camera? How about making your own wireless tethering DSLR camera then? What you need is a $40 wireless USB dongle, an AA battery pack and an USB adapter. And your Nikon DSLR of course. You will then be able to tether your DSLR to your computer. The whole thing should work out just fine with Nikon’s Camera Control 2 software and you should be able to transfer JPEG files in about four seconds and RAW+ files in about eight seconds. If you’re not good with your hands then you can always choose Nikon’s WT-4a wireless transmitter but it’s going to cost you about $800.
