Sometimes it pays not to be good. Apparently no one ever thought that they would be rewarded but not in the case of this reverse marketing strategy that has been announced by PhotoWalking Tours. The worst photographers nominated will be getting a $1,000 package of goodies to improve on their photography hobby, consisting of two private classes, five One on One PhotoWalkingTours, and much more.

Now this isn’t exactly what you may call the best contest to die for. However, just look at the bright side. You stand to improve a lot and maybe even become better than the professionals with this packaged bunch of goodies. Three runners up will each receive a single 2-hour, small group PhotoWalkingTour in Orange County and participation in both of Velasco’s classes with a small group, a package valued at over $135 each.

In order to nominate someone for these prizes, one must explain, in 50 words or less, why the nominee most deserves the Grand Prize Photography Learning Package and include this in the body of an e-mail sent to PhotoWalkingTours at gmail dot com, no attachments will be opened. Deadline for entries is October 31, 2009.
