Xerox Corporation recently rolled out a new black-and-white digital press, the Xerox Nuvera™ 200 EA Perfecting Production System. The Digital Press can print at 200 images per minute and specializes in high volume applications that require superior image quality.

“The overall print quality of the Xerox Nuvera system for target market applications surpassed its digital competitor and was fully competitive with offset quality, sometimes even exceeding it," said David Spencer, SpencerLab’s president and CEO. "Our tests found the Xerox Nuvera system images had better depth, contrast and sharpness, with print quality closer to offset than that of the digital competitor."

The Xerox Nuvera 200 EA system utilizes the Xerox’s patented chemically-grown Emulsion Aggregation Toner for a smoother mate finish. The digital press delivers two side prints twice as fast as competitive models by using two print engines.  The press delivers a high resolution of 4800 x 600 dots per inch and 156 lines per inch.

The Xerox Nuvera 200 EA Perfecting Production System would be available this month worldwide through Xerox authorized partners.
