Xerox Unveils New Software Suite For DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP Digital Presses
Recently, Xerox, a world-class digital printer maker, launched its New Software Suite for DocuColor 7000AP/8000AP Digital Presses. Incorporating various automated features, the all new Automated Color Quality Suite provides increased production time and better color stability.
The suite enables DocuColor 7000AP/ 8000 AP Digital Presses to perform functions like advanced profiling, calibration and spot color calibration. Till now, these features were reserved for the company’s Xerox iGen3™ 90 and 110 Digital Production Presses.
"Color image quality demands are escalating," said Quincy Allen, president, Xerox Production Systems Group. "By having the Automated Color Quality Suite available across a wider range of our color systems, more print shops can produce jobs such as photo books, corporate brochures and marketing materials that require a high degree of color reliability and detail."
The New Software Suite for DocuColor 7000AP/ 8000 AP Digital Presses shows a breakthrough improvement in profile creation technology for accurate saturated color and balanced neutrals. It features Variable Gloss Management for reducing glossy appearance of dark colors in digital prints.
Priced somewhere around $ 15,000, the Xerox Automated Color Quality Suite is immediately available in North America and United Kingdom for existing accounts and DocuColor 7000AP/ 8000 AP Digital Press users.
