The yCam connects directly to your wireless router and transmits the live video feed va WiFi. This provides parents an easy way to watch and listen to the child, and better yet, other people can watch video content too, that is, if they got the right password. A big positive point is the inclusion of infrared, so you’ve got night vision as well.

In terms of technical specifications, the yCam can record video with sound at 30 frames-per-second, with a resolution of 640×480 pixels. It has motion detection sensors that send an alert via email, and the data is compressed in MPEG-4 format.
