If you’ve got a Windows PC (sorry Mac users, they say a new version’s coming out on the order of Real Soon Now, but next time you believe those smirking Justin Long commercials, maybe you want to ask that Mac WHERE ALL HIS SOFTWARE IS) and a nearly pathological love of classic movies, then you definitely want to know about the Yoostar Camera System.

With the Yoostar, you can be green-screened into your choice of old movies, to deliver the greatest lines alongside some of the greatest actors.  See, the Yoostar isn’t just a camera, it comes with the necessary editing software and, the crowning touch, a six by six foot green screen (in its own collapsible nylon bag) that you can put up behind you.  Then, when you film yourself, you can be entered into the picture right alongside the greats.

I look for this to spawn an entire movement of film remaking on YouTube–Misties from INSIDE THE MOVIE ITSELF.  But it’s not cheap–right now, the software costs a hundred and seventy bucks for the base version, and between one and four dollars for compatible clips.  I also look for hackers to tear the doors off this sucker and start inserting themselves into porn and hentai anime by the end of 2010.
